The First International Congress of Parliamentary Women's Caucuses

The Irish Women's Parliamentary Caucus will host the first International Congress of Parliamentary Women's Caucuses. The conference will bring together female parliamentarians from across the globe to discuss issues facing women and how parliamentarians can work to address them.

The Congress aims to bring together representatives of international women's caucuses to provide an opportunity for learning and exchange and reflect on progress of women in politics, set the agenda for women's politics and launch a declaration for women in politics 2018. 

Topics for discussion will include:

• Women's achievements in politics
• Proposals for action
• Women in the real world
